Moving... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/2/07
I think this song is great for teenagers and adults alike who have had to do something that their parents didn't really like. It fits in any mood and any situation. Perfect song to leave after enlisting.

This song is amazing. It is very deep and you can feel the emotion as the song plays. Wish Metallica still made songs the way they used to in the 80's and 90's.

There's just one word that can be said for this song, and it's not really a word though!
Woooooow!!
This song is just amazing, whatever your mood might be, you'll find it beautiful, unlike many great songs that make you feel worse if you're not well.
I don't know if this is really good, but excuse me for the language, I'm french, so I don't speak english very well!!!

this beautiful song by metallica is my all time favourite. the music which gathers pace as time passes(progressive rock) add beauty to the awsome lyrics. perhaps the best song i have ever heard. a must hear for all rock lovers.

Great English Lesson! | Reviewer: Devorah | 6/26/05
I am an English teacher in Israel. I teach this song every year to my 11th grade students. They always enjoy the lesson. The song is full of metaphors as well as important issues that they, themselves are trying to deal with as teenagers. I think the song portrays inner turmoil, choices and consequences in a very real way.
I also like to compare it to the poem, "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. Both song and poem address a person who faces a difficult choice, yet later on is regretful about the path he has chosen.
Leave it to an English teacher to ruin a perfectly good song!
Country meets metal | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/14/05
I know I'm in the minority with this one, but I just love this song! It's such a welcome change from what Metallica had done since their start in the early '80s. I love the steel guitar, and think the lyrics of the song are very moving. Even at the height of their heaviest phase, Metallica's been a band with heart. They really show it with this tune.
