Lashing out the action, returning the reaction
Weak are ripped and torn away
Hypnotizing power, crushing all that cower
Battery is here to stay
Smashing through the boundaries
lunacy has found me
cannot stop the Battery
Pounding out aggression
turns into obsession
cannot kill the Battery
Cannot kill the family
Battery is found in me
Battery
Battery
Crushing all deceivers, smashing non-believers
never ending potency
Hungry violence seeker, feeding off the weaker
Breeding on insanity
Smashing through the boundaries
lunacy has found me
cannot stop the Battery
Pounding out aggression
turns into obsession
cannot kill the Battery
Cannot kill the family
Battery is found in me
Battery
Battery
Circle of Destruction, Hammer comes crushing
Powerhouse of energy
Whipping up a fury, Dominating flurry
We create the Battery
Smashing through the boundaries
lunacy has found me
cannot stop the Battery
Pounding out aggression
turns into obsession
cannot kill the Battery
Cannot kill the family
Battery is found in me
Battery
Battery

Review about Battery Metallica | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/1/09
Battery is a intense song, no I do not know what it means either like said earlier. Though I am only a 17 year old, I have been to 6 concerts of theirs, even followed them to Europe. I am sick of the kids who think they love Metallica when they really don't know or care what their listening too. Metallica, Megadeth, and slayer my favorite bands, I am at least a little credible since I have been listening to these since I was little and even saw them in concerts. I am not comparing myself to the life fans of Metallica that were there from the start but at least I am better than the 14 year olds that posted earlier.
Dave > Kirk | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/1/09
Dave has a far higher quality of musical talent then Kirk does. Even though Dave doesn't play every single Megadeth solo, he still shows Kirk up. I think the only thing Metallica have over Megadeth is James vocals and their really powerful lyrics. In every other aspect (solos, hard riffs, creativity, etc) goes to Megadeth. No doubt in my mind. P.S St Anger was fuckin bull shit. Metallica without solos is like, Iron Maiden with Bruce. It's no good.
Age limit and shit | Reviewer: Anon 10/19/09 | 10/21/09
Anon 10/20/09,
First off, let me correct my previous statement:
"People younger than 16 souldn't post because, in general, etc. etc. ...."
You aparently seem not to be one of those cases I mentioned before. But still, I stand somewhat corrected. You like Metallica, but you listen to many other bands and styles. That's exactly my point! How can you, in an age in which your just begining to find out about the expansion of music, clearly state that you love, over any other band and music style, Metallica? For God's sake, when I was 14 I was listening to Linkin Park, Red Hot Chilly Peppers and Limp Bizkit. Now I fucking listen to Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Machine Head, etc. etc.(I still listen to those bands some times, and a lot of other rock bands, but I very much prefer Heavy Metal). My point is, altough you can still keep earing Metallica, you can't shout to the wind (yet) that you love it, cause you still have a lot to learn, a lot to experience and, trust me, your tastes WILL change.
P.S. If you don't care about what other people ear and you don't care if other people like the music you ear, then WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU POSTING HERE?! Honestly, don't you have something better to do with your time? I know I don't, but still...
What demise? | Reviewer: whogivesadamn | 10/19/09
I'm also 14. My earliest memory of Metallica is being about 6 years old and singing along to the unforgiven.
(while tying desperately to match the vocal power of James on the album. . . and failing misserably, being the sqeaky little girl I was.)
To answer a couple million post, Rumors of Metallica's demise have been GREATLY exagerated by the likes of everyone here.
Yes, St Anger wasent there best (left me a little dissapointed as well) but it deffinetly wasent a "horrible" album at all. Just not up to such high expectations. (There human. You can't blame them.) You must admitt, It had some great songs!
No, ...And Justice of All wasent there "downfall"
nor was the load-reload set. As I had previesly said, rummors of Metallica's demise have been greatly exagerated.
I. . . don't WANT to know what happened in your pants durring The Call of Kathulu.
Lastly, the older fans are not to be dissrespected in such a way. Ever. If your too imature to see that we are KIDS and KIDS ALONE (and the majority of us wont last as long as they have), then "GTFO and STFU".
Age limit and shit | Reviewer: Anon | 10/20/09
Anon 10/19/09, you certainly know it. There's one little mistake though. People from 16 down to even 13 MAY have excellent grammar (and reasonable opinions). I do not like to say this but I am fifteen, and indeed, I think Metallica's music is great. Although I listen to all sorts of music.
SHUT THE HELL UP AND LISTEN TO WHAT YOU THINK IS GOOD. WHO CARES ABOUT OTHERS.
metallicaaa | Reviewer: twilly | 10/18/09

Dude wth | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/19/09
First of, if you're fucking 14 and you have been listening to Metallica for 9 years wake up cause there's a lot of good music you've been missing.
Second, nobody said St.Anger was a bad album, but it's a shortcoming for Metallica, because they made really great albums, just look at Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning, or even to a lesser note, Load and Reload, and in St.Anger they went for a more trash metal sound, a more comercial aproach, that backfired, leaving a lot of their hardcore fans disappointed (me included, even if it has a couple of great songs). Third, to answer a previous post, no, it was not ...And Justice for All that marked their decline, cause that's like top 3 of their studio albums, it was Load, because it marked the change in Metallica's style. Also, i'm not saying that those and following albums, up till Death Magnetic, were bad, just not as good.
To finish this off, I just want to say if you are <16, please, don't post that you love Metallica for two simple reasons: you're tastes are still changing and you still don't have enough grammar skills to make a post that anybody gives a crap about, it'll be just page stuffing, nobody in their right mind (yes, I'm insane) will loose their time answering to you.
P.S: What happens in your pants when you ear the Call of Ktulu it's none of our business, and honestly, we like it that way, so please, keep it to yourself.
Dude wtf | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/13/09

While it's nice to see Metallica's got support from all ages, you all posting on here saying "OHMAHGAWD LIKE SRSLY METALLICA ISNT FOR OLD PPL I MEAN IM 14 I'M COMPLETELY CREDIBLE!!1!!1"
I'm pretty sure everyone loves Metallica, by the way...
St. Anger sucked.
Dave > Kirk
...And Justice For All was the beginning of their downfall in musical quality
There is non higher. | Reviewer: Quinn | 9/23/09
I'm am a 20 year old female. My father has blasted metallica into my ears since birth, literally. He always says "Metallica, there is non higher." They are by far one of the most influential metal bands that has ever existed;setting the standard for future speed metal or metal in general. I don't give one fuck what you favorite album is or which one sucks. The bottom line is every human should at least give the albums a listen. I promise there is something, be it lyrics or music, that you can connect to. Long live Metallica!
