Look into my eyes
Tell me what ya see
U don't see a damn thing
Cuz u can't relate to me
U blinded by our differences
My life makes no sense to u
I'm the persecuted one
U the red, white and blue
Each day u wake in tranquility
No fears to cross your eyes
Each day I wake in gratitude
Thankin' God He let me rise
Ya worry 'bout your education
And the bills u have to pay
I worry 'bout my vulnerable life
And if I'll survive another day
Ya biggest fear is getting a ticket
As ya cruise your Cadillac
My fear is that the tank that's just left
Will turn around and come back
Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Has our world gone all blind
Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Some one tell me
Oh let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters
Oh shine a light for every soul
That ain't with us no more
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters
See I've known terror for quite some times
57 years so cruel
Terror breathes the air I breathe
It's the check point on my way to school
Terror is the robbery of my land
And the torture of my mother
The imprisonment of my innocent father
The bullet in my baby brother
The bulldozers and the tanks
The gasses and the guns
The bombs that fall outside my door
All due to your funds
You blame me for defending myself
Against the ways of my enemies
I'm terrorized in my own land
And I'm the terrorist
Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Has our world gone all blind
Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Some one tell me
Oh let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters
Oh shine a light for every soul
That ain't with us no more
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters
American do ya realize
That the taxes that u pay
Feed the forces that traumatize
My every living day
So if I won't be here tomorrow
It's written in my fate
May the future bring a brighter day
The end of our wait
Oh let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters
Oh shine a light for every soul
That ain't with us no more
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

the lyrics do not imply that the person is 57 years old.
See I've known terror for quite some times
57 years so cruel
Terror breathes the air I breathe
It's the check point on my way to school
just talking abt 57 years of cruelty and terror on his land. he was born in it and grew up in it and he knows abt it as his history and his present.
the lyrics do make sense, if u just give them a little thought!

i jus came across this song on youtube, bcos i was interested in the lyrics, esp.
"You blame me for defending myself Against the ways of my enemies, I'm terrorized in my own land And I'm the terrorist?"
i can relate to this song, as i live in ireland and my country has been thru everything before...the bombs, guns, killings by the british scum and yet we are made out to be the barbaric selfish cruel bastards who kill, they tint our names with the word terrorist and the media turn the world against us
One Mans Terrorist, Is Another Mans Freedom Fighter!
The IRA,ETA,HAMAS,FARC Etc, we are just fighting the oppressing force Who Think Its Fine To come into our countries and take over!
The British And American Forces Are The Biggest Terrorist Groups In The World

First of all, if someone doesn't know what he's talking about he must not comment .. cauz 57 years is how old the so called "israel" was at the time they wrote this song !! .. and 57 is abviously not how old the little boy that goes to school is .. and besides .. if somone says that these lyrics are shitty he abvioulsy hasn't understood a damn thing !! .. the little boy doesn't have his own house because it's his Parents house ..! and about terror .. who said it was ok ?! the text clearly is against terrorism , it is actually saying that people are blaming the Palestinians for defending themselves and they're not looking at the real terrorists who are killing the innocent people .. and then they blame the Palestinians for deffending themselves and they call them terrorists !!
So don't say what you don't know and don't defend what is wrong !! KNOW the facts and then talk ..

okay i don't get this.. the man in the second verse is 57. how can he still be on the way to school. and even if it is a child i seriously doubt that he has his own house.. dont get me wrong im against the war and all that shit but this text doesn't make that much sense if you look at the gramma and words used.. and what a shitty music video they made for this song.. peace out.

oh yeah one more thing. are they acctually saying that terror is okay??? (You blame me for defending myself Against the ways of my enemies I'm terrorized in my own land (what) And I'm the terrorist.) well if you shoot at soldiers who's there to create some kind of security in the country you are a terrorist. might be the usa who fucked it up but now it's freaking anarchy..
Hi everyone this song is very important to me I like this song too much and it's a big part in this album "closer than veins" I wish I could to be success in the future,I LOVE OUTLANDISH,I Love Isam,I Love Waqas,I love Lenny too....
hye..i'm comes from malaysia.i'm a muslim girl..
when i heard this song,i really feels so blessed because i lived in a peace country. This song has a very deep meaning for me..it made me realize that we should'nt mutter about our difficulties and hardship in life because we have a better life than palestian people and we must do something for them at least pray for their freedom from israel..May Allah bless them.

I come from Denmark just like Outlandish. I am not a muslim, nor christian. I believe in no god, but believe in equality and freedom for all human beings.
I think a lot of people, not just in US but in the west, have a very bad view on islam, and muslims.
I really hope people will realize some day that it's only very very few muslims whom actually believe that killing westerners is a good thing.
My name is sally and i'm 14 i'm an arab muslim. I just wanna say that this song touched me in a very deep way it made me realized that we all should care this song is very nice i really like it & This song is full of emotions, it really gets to my heart and esrail i don't know why do they do this things to palestin, .
We are all the same people the only defrens is that there are some muslims and some arent they really shouldent do this bull shit :S they should stop everything but i cant change anything by my mind i cant do anything right:( i wish i could and if i can i would stop it all. i just pray every day that allah, god will stop it :(.
